3 possible replacements for Harry Kane if he joins Manchester United

The early signs this summer are that Harry Kane may be considering his future and if he does leave the club ahead of the new season, Spurs will certainly need to find a replacement, and one of high calibre, but who fits the bill? If Spurs manage to achieve anything close to their reported £150million asking price, then they’ll have their pick of replacements.

Tottenham need to be ahead of the curve if Kane does leave, as they can’t afford to wait for his departure before making their move, as that approach would more than likely see clubs raise the asking price.

The former Celtic forward has excelled in Ligue 1 at Lyon and is widely regarded as one of the best young forwards in Europe right now. Whilst he wouldn’t come cheap, he’s unlikely to be out of the clubs price range both in terms of an initial fee and player wages. Spurs could also be considered a step up from Lyon and so the move would more than likely appeal to the player.
