Tottenham’s 23-year-old summer signing, Giovani Lo Celso, has had to wait for his chance in the Tottenham team, but after his midweek performance in the Champions League, I don’t expect he will have to wait much longer to feature again.
Lo Celso looked the type of player that Spurs were crying out for, especially with Cristian Eriksen fading into the background in recent weeks.
Tidy in possession, accurate with his decisive passes and with an eye for goal, Lo Celso showcased the full repertoire of skills in Belgrade, leading Spurs to a comfortable win.
Spurs fans were certainly excited to see some positivity on the pitch and to see their new signing performing so well. Now, fans will hope to see more of the dynamic midfielder in Premier League action.
