Isco started just 9 games in La Liga for Real Madrid last season and this season he’s started just 2. Aged 27 and with the Euros on the horizon, Isco has no time to waste on the bench. I’m sure the Spaniard would be open to a move away from Madrid to resurrect his career. He clearly has a huge amount of talent that is being wasted currently. We’ve seen his quality, especially for Spain at major tournaments.

In the summer, when quizzed on the players future, Zidane failed to say whether Isco would still be at Madrid this season, hinting that the club may look to sell some assets. Since this quote, Hazard has signed and only pushed Isco further down the pecking order.
