3 Premier League players Spurs should sign this summer

Tottenham have seriously lacked quality in depth this season and despite an incredible run to reach the Champions League final, the club have again fallen short in the Premier League title race.

Now in a new, state-of-the-art stadium, Spurs must kick on to the next level and join Liverpool and Manchester City as the two elite clubs in the country. To do this, they need reinforcements and in my opinion they should be looking no further than the Premier League to help them take that next leap. After all, proven Premier League talent will take little time to adapt and help the team with immediate effect.

The Ivorian international failed at Manchester United at a young age, but he has been incredible for Crystal Palace over the last couple of years and is certainly ready for the next step in his career, in my opinion. Now 26, the versatile forward needs to move to a European club and Spurs are just that. The problem may lie in the asking price, set at £100million by Palace. I think it’s fair to say that no club will be paying such an amount, despite his obvious qualities. As the window drags on and Zaha pushes for a move, you can expect something like £60million to do the job. It would be £60million well spent in my opinion and give Spurs a fearsome frontline with the likes of Son, Kane, Zaha and Lucas Moura as options. The days of reliance on Harry Kane are long gone.
