It’s easy to see why this electric midfielder is in such high demand. His end product is incredible, netting 16 goals and providing 11 assists in 29 league games so far this season. That’s an incredible return for a central midfielder, he also plays with good energy, shuttling between defence and attack to help his teammates all around the field. With the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City interested, Spurs would have it all to do to convince Fernandes to join the club this summer, but I would argue they could offer first team assurances that City couldn’t and probably Champions League football, something United are unlikely to have.
