3 & 4 – Karim Benzema and Luka Modric!
There is talk that when Madrid attempt to buy Kane in the summer, they will include up to three players in a sensational swap deal. Both Bale and Modric could return to the club whilst Benzema could also be touted, as Kane would, of course, replace the Frenchman as the main man through the middle. The news comes from The Mirror. Modric could be moved on as at 32 years of age, Madrid are said to be looking to the future with Zidane ready to give more game time to Ceballos and Kovacic. Signing Bale, Benzema and Modric would certainly soften the blow of losing Kane, but in terms of wages, is this realistic? The trio would demand in excess of £500,000 per week in terms of wages and can Spurs afford to hand that out to older players?
