Finally A Signing? 3 Spurs Transfer Targets Hint At Summer Switch

Tottenham’s transfer window has been incredibly quiet so far, and whilst the team are focussing on maintaining their current squad (Walker aside), there are several quality signings that could still be completed, in fact, this week, three transfer targets have come out and suggested they want to move on this summer.

Meyer is a tricky midfielder and aged 21, has the potential to do very well in his career. The London Evening Standard have cited some quotes which show that Meyer will not push for a move away, but he is open to one:

“Let’s see what happens. I declined the [contract] offer because I was not satisfied with my personal situation,” Meyer told Bild.

“I just saw no chance to develop. It would have been the wrong step, however, because the overall situation has changed. I am completely open on my future. Let’s see what happens. It is not the case that I will definitely go. I never said I would change clubs – let alone this summer – I just did not renew the contract, ”

Meyer has not been that productive statistically yet, last season he managed just 1 goal and 1 assist in the Bundesliga last season in 18 starts and 9 sub appearances – but he does show the raw ability that is attracting interest from top clubs.
