This is a deal that has been reportedly close for quite some time now, but it seems that Tottenham might just about to land their man very close to deadline day.
Yesterday, Sky Sports reported that Spurs have agreed terms with Estudiantes for the transfer of Foyth, who is considered to be a star for the future as far as Tottenham are concerned.
The move has been complicated over this summer due to the interest of PSG, who looked to be standing in the way of Tottenham bringing Foyth to North London, but now it is understood that they have withdrawn their interest, paving the way for Spurs to secure Foyth’s signature.
Mauricio Pochettino has convinced Foyth to join Spurs over PSG this summer as the defender had concerns about how much he would be involved at Spurs. The Argentine boss assured the player that Spurs is a club that gambles on youngsters and that if he trains hard, his first opportunities will come. This deal looks like it will go through before the 11pm deadline on Thursday.
