4 More Signings That Tottenham Could Complete On Deadline Day

Juan Foyth has completed his much-anticipated move to Tottenham Hotspur, but that is not where Tottenham’s transfer activity is set to end. There are strong reports linking Spurs with moves for four more players. In this article we take a look at the latest news surrounding each player.

This is all but confirmed. Spurs have been on the lookout for a new right-back ever since selling Kyle Walker to Manchester City for £50m, and it looks like the Lilywhites have finally got their man and the move is ‘imminent’ according to Sky Sports.

The only factor stopping this move going through was the lack of work permit for Aurier. Doubt was cast over whether he would receive a work permit after he received a suspended sentence for assault on a police officer.

However, this now seems to have no effect on the right-back’s intended move to Tottenham Hotspur after he posted a tweet yesterday that convinced Spurs fans that he will be joining the club for a fee of around £23m. All that remains is for the transfer to be announced by the two clubs, and we can expect that fairly early on in deadline day.

One man who will be far from pleased with the signing is Kieran Trippier. He very much expected to become first choice right-back after the departure of Kyle Walker, but this could well change with the arrival of Aurier from PSG.
