Spurs have been in the news already on transfer deadline day as they look to complete the signings of Serge Aurier and Fernando Llorente. Here are three other players that Spurs need to target to make it a very successful transfer deadline day.
1) Demarai Gray
Leicester City’s Demarai Gray is absolutely desperate to play more first team football. Could a move to Spurs be a perfect escape from the King Power Stadium.
First team minutes have been few and far between for Gray under Craig Shakespare and Spurs reportedly entered the race for the winger last week. Bournemouth have already seen a £25m bid for Gray rejected on deadline day according to Sky Sources, so it will take a bid upwards of that to tempt Leicester into selling up.
Leicester do not want to sell at this moment in time and following rejecting that £25m bid from the Cherries, the Foxes are readying a new bumper contract to offer Gray, who is currently on international duty with the U-21s.
With the Premier League, Champions League, EFL Cup and later on in the season, the FA Cup, Spurs have plenty of competitions to juggle, which could present plenty of chances for Demarai Gray to get some first team minutes under his belt.
