While the main focus tomorrow on deadline day will be the players Tottenham will bring into the squad, here are three players that could follow Kevin Wimmer out the exit door on transfer deadline day.
1) Vincent Janssen
The Dutchman didn’t enjoy the best of starts to life in the Premier League and with first team chances very few and far between for Janssen, he could seek a deadline day move away.
The striker has admitted he is unhappy with his situation at Spurs and wants more playing time under manager Mauricio Pochettino to try and prove his worth. However, if the prolific scoring of Harry Kane begins to kick in anytime soon, he chances might by hard to come by.
You get the feeling that what Janssen needs to succeed is a strong run of games, which can be hard to get when you are second choice to a striker like Harry Kane. With Janssen sitting frustrated on the bench and with many holding little confidence in him if Kane were to get injured, a move away might be best for both parties.
