2 – Juan Foyth
Tottenham are said to be on the verge of signing Estudiantes defender Juan Foyth. Widespread reports suggest that an agreement has finally been reached for the young promising defender.
Foyth made 4 appearances for the first team at Estudiantes last term, and some might be worried by his lack of experience, but given Pochettino’s previous success with young players, Spurs could be onto a winner with the teenager, who could cost somewhere in the region of £10million.
The club spotted the 19-year-old playing for Argentina in the Under-20s World Cup last month and were said to have been impressed by his performances. Estudiantes president Juan Veron will fly to Italy for talks regarding a potential move this week, and if successful, Spurs might clinch their first signing of this summer window.
