Spurs have had a bid accepted for Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente, and the striker has reportedly had a medical in North London ahead of a dramatic deadline day move.

Chelsea have been in talks with the Welsh club for a large part of the summer regarding a potential deal involving Llorente, but an agreement has not been reached. Tottenham’s accepted bid is believed to be worth around about £15m as they look to provide sufficient backup for Harry Kane.

The deal is ready to be completed at any moment. However, there is just one thing holding the announcement back. Swansea are keen to find a replacement before they sanction any move away for Llorente. They look close to resigning Wilfred Bony, but are holding back any sale of the Spaniard just in case the Bony deal falls through.
