3 Fringe Players That Could Break Through For Spurs Next Season

Harry began to get regular first team minutes in the Premier League from November last season after he scored his debut goal against West Ham to send the man himself and White Hart Lane into a frenzy as he levelled the scores against West Ham.

I have been so impressed with Winks since his introduction. Looking at his physique and build, you would not expect him to be as strong on and off the ball as he is, winning the ball off others and keeping hold of the ball with great composure. His range of passing is another attribute of his that has impressed me.

Unfortunately, Winks picked up a pretty nasty looking injury in the 2-0 away win at Burnley at the start of April, but he looks like he is on the mend with a couple of pictures emerging from Tottenham’s Social Media channels of the Englishman in pre-season training.

I think next season will be a big season for Winks in his development as a player. He can most definitely challenge the likes of Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama for a spot in the middle of the park, and I will be surprised if he doesn’t make at least 20-25 starts in all competitions next season.
