3 Brilliant Attacking Signings Tottenham Could Make Before the Season Starts

As good as Tottenham’s season was last season, the club have struggled to make much of an impact in the off-season and Pochettino will surely want to strengthen his side ahead of the new season, particularly having lost Kyle Walker for £50million earlier in the window.

One area where Spurs have struggled for depth in recent seasons is in attacking areas. In this article we take a look at 3 players who, according to reports, Tottenham could sign before the season kicks off in just 10 days’ time…

1 – Ross Barkley

Let’s get the obvious one out of the way first. Ross is surely on his way out of the club this summer after Everton boss Ronald Koeman said his midfielder would ‘100% leave’ this summer. Barkley’s original price tag was set at an astronomical £50million, which put off Tottenham, but it is now thought that a more modest bid of around £30million would be enough to sign the England international. Another potential obstacle for this transfer, though, is Barkley’s reported wage demands. These excessive demands are said to be putting the deal in jeopardy.
