3 – Joel Veltman
Joel Veltman is said to be a target for Tottenham according to a report in London Evening Standard. They say the 25-year-old has been on Spurs’ radar for around 12 months. Veltman is capable of playing as a right back in a back four or as a central defender in either a 4 or 3 man defence. His versatility and asking price (said to be just £8million) make him an attractive option to bolster Tottenham’s squad. Considering Sakho is also said to be of interest, Veltman would prove to be a hell of a lot cheaper. If Pochettino is just looking for a player to add to his squad, then Veltman appears a good option.
