Enjoying another good season to back up his strong debut year at White Hart Lane, Dele Alli might find himself also being tempted by a move over to La Liga, as Barcelona or Real Madrid might chase the youngster’s signature at the end of the season.

Alli has been on fire this season, especially so over the Christmas period. However, the youngster still has a lot to learn, as shown by the Europa League defeat on aggregate at Wembley against Gent, where he was sent off for a horrific tackle in the first half.

Should Real Madrid or Barcelona come knocking in the summer, Alli would have to question whether he could handle the pressure of being a big money signing at such a prestigious club. My guess would be no, but the former MK Dons man has proved me wrong before, and probably could again.

Like Walker, Alli’s attacking threat would be sorely missed. Alli has scored twelve goals in the Premier League this season, just five less than joint top-scorer Harry Kane.
