Chelsea’s team has been held in very high regard this season, but Pochettino’s men beat them 2-0 on Wednesday night to cut their 13 game winning run. Both Chelsea and Tottenham have been in good form of late, but looking at the two sides, I think it is clear that some Tottenham players would walk into the Chelsea team, here’s four.
1 – Toby Alderweireld
Perhaps the best central defender in the Premier League, Toby has been sensational since joining the club and without a doubt, he would walk into a Chelsea team that plays with three central defenders. Only David Luiz out of the three defenders have been close to Toby’s level this season, I think alongside Luiz and Azpilicueta, Chelsea would look even stronger defensively. Pochettino was so keen to beat Southampton to the signing of the former Atletico Madrid man, and you can really see why. He has flourished at White Hart Lane and I feel his style of play is perfectly suited to the Premier League.
