Sissoko Starts: Tottenham Team News & Predicted Line-Up To Face Chelsea

CDM: Victor Wanyama

Wanyama has been in terrific form recently, and has attracted much praise from fans and pundits alike. It will be a very physical battle in the middle of the park, and Wanyama playing will be key to winning this physical battle.

CDM: Mousa Dembele

Wanyama and Dembele bossed the midfield at Stamford Bridge back in November, and if they both play, which I think they will, Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping that they control the midfield like they did at Stamford Bridge in the first 45 minutes.

RAM: Moussa Sissoko

Heung-min Son wasn’t at his best against Watford on New Year’s Day, and may make more of an impact if he comes on off the bench against Chelsea. I think that Moussa Sissoko will come in for Son, bringing more of a physical presence with him.

CAM: Christian Eriksen

As well as this being a physical battle in the middle of the park, Spurs will need a pinch of creativity in the side, and Christian Eriksen can provide this. He created five chances against Watford, more than anybody else on the pitch, and he will be key to Spurs if they are to break down an extremely strong Chelsea defence.

LAM: Dele Alli

Alli is on fire at the moment. He is looking like he has returned to his best, having scored five times in his last three games. As well as adding a physical presence, he can also provide that something special to score against this Chelsea defence.

ST: Harry Kane

Three in his last two for Spurs. I am sure he will lead the line here, and we are hoping for more magic from the Englishman at White Hart Lane, similar to that of the display in the 5-3 win over the Blues two years ago.
