Sissoko Starts: Tottenham Team News And Predicted Line-Up To Face Hull City

Spurs fell to just their second defeat of the season on Sunday at Old Trafford, and Mauricio Pochettino will be looking for a quick and strong response when his Tottenham side come up against Hull City on Wednesday night.

Mousa Dembele is out with a foot injury that he picked up on Sunday, whilst Vincent Janssen is also missing through injury. Erik Lamela has returned from Argentina, but is unlikely to be fit for this game. Here is our Spurs predicted line-up to face Hull.

The Frenchman made a couple of good stops at Old Trafford to keep us in the game on Sunday, and I have no doubt that he will start against Hull City on Wednesday night.

RB: Kyle Walker

I thought Walker did a really good job in keeping Anthony Martial quiet on Sunday, who can be really dangerous on his day, and I think that Walker will keep his place in the starting eleven here.

CB: Toby Alderweireld

It was excellent to see Toby return from injury at the weekend for his first full ninety minutes, and I thought he had a solid game, and will keep his partnership with Jan Vertonghen at the back once again for this game.

CB: Jan Vertonghen

The Belgian has really stepped up in recent weeks, and has played really well at the back, keeping up Spurs’ excellent defensive record in the Premier League. He should start here.

LB: Danny Rose

Rose had his hands full on Sunday afternoon against Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and although he scored, Rose couldn’t have possibly got anywhere near the Armenian after Harry Kane gave the ball away in midfield. He should keep his place.
