If Hugo Lloris was to leave White Hart Lane, it would be a huge blow to Mauricio Pochettino’s men if he were to play his football elsewhere. However, the answer to Tottenham’s problems if Lloris were to leave could actually be in the squad at this precise moment.
Vorm has mainly provided cover for the Frenchman since he arrived at White Hart Lane, but was given a couple of games in the Premier League, and proved to be a very useful replacement in August. Hugo Lloris was injured at Goodison Park on the opening day of the season, and Vorm stepped in, doing so with great reliability.
After making a couple of good saves at Everton, the Dutchman started in the home games against Crystal Palace and Liverpool, conceding just one goal in his two-and-a-half games in between the sticks, making five saves per goal. The goal he conceded was from the penalty spot against Liverpool, and Vorm proved his worth as a very talented sweeper keeper. If Lloris leaves, then Vorm could prove to be a very good replacement for the Frenchman.
