The Kenyan holding midfielder arrived from Southampton for £11m as Spurs looked to get some good business done early on in the summer transfer window, and what a signing he has proved to be so far this season.

Wanyama has been labelled the signing of the summer by many, and it is hard to disagree looking at some of the displays put in by the 25-year-old, and considering how much Spurs paid for his services from Southampton.

The former Saints midfielder has previously this term played on his own in the defensive midfield, but will now be looking to form a strong partnership with Mousa Dembele in the heart of the midfield now that the Belgian appears to be back to his best judging buy his performance against Arsenal.

Wanyama has been an excellent signing for Spurs this season. The Kenyan has scored once this term, the winner against Crystal Palace, and continues to put in solid displays, creating 11 chances in 11 Premier League games.
