3 Reasons Why Spurs Must Get A Result Against Arsenal On Sunday

Spurs go in the North London derby in terrible form, and probably the worst form they have endured since Mauricio Pochettino took over at White Hart Lane, excluding last season’s collapse post-Chelsea. Despite this poor form, here are three reasons why Spurs must go to the Emirates and get a result on Sunday.

Spurs have not won in all competitions since the win over Manchester City back in the first weekend of October. This is an extremely worrying run, and Mauricio Pochettino’s men have to find a way of getting a win on the board, and fast.

Tottenham may be unbeaten in the Premier League this season, but the fact is that Spurs find themselves drawing games way too often. So far this season, the Lilywhites have shared the spoils on five occasions in the Premier League, and once more in the Champions League. For a team that wants to be challenging at the top this season, Mauricio Pochettino must find a way of turning the odd points into three points.

It is clear to see from the last month that Spurs are a team lacking confidence. Grabbing a hard-earned point or even three points at the Emirates against bitter rivals will do the team the world of good, and give everybody in the squad a confidence boost.
