Victor Wanyama- 8

A much improved performance from the summer signing, he allowed City midfielders minimal time on the ball, pressing them really well as well as making some very strong tackles. Looked much more like the player we purchased from Southampton.

Dele Alli- 8

Turned the formation into a 4-1-4-1 again looking to push forward as much as possible, swapping his deeper position with different players throughout the game as he pushed from the front. Took his goal extremely well to fire us 2-0 up.

Moussa Sissoko- 7

Little more like it from Sissoko on Sunday. He looked to cause real problems down the right wing, and with the help of Walker did exactly that. A great performance.

Christian Eriksen- 8

An excellent display from Eriksen. I have previously criticised the Dane for disappearing too much in the big games, but this time he was more involved than ever. He recovered the ball superbly in midfield and was popping up anywhere and everywhere playing intricate balls around. Much improved.

Erik Lamela- 7

Wasn’t Lamela’s best performance by a long way. Missed the penalty which in my opinion he should have let Son have, but apart from that he had a solid game, his final ball not quite coming off though.

Son Heung-min- 8

Led the line for most of the afternoon, and did so really well. He held the ball up really well, putting in another stunning performance playing away from his usual position. He really is on fire.

Subs

Eric Dier- 7

Came on to steady the ship in midfield, and succeeded in doing so.
