Eriksen Dropped! Tottenham Team News And Predicted Line-Up To Face Bournemouth

Spurs earned what may prove to be a precious point in the Champions League last time out on Tuesday night, and will be looking to get back to winning ways when they travel to Bournemouth in the early kickoff on Saturday.

In terms of team news, Toby Alderweireld remains out, but may only be for a couple of week more, whereas Danny Rose is a doubt with a knock picked up against Leverkusen. Harry Kane is still recovering from his ankle injury, and is back in training.

GK: Hugo Lloris

What a save from the Frenchman on Tuesday night. How he managed to scramble across his line and keep the ball from crossing the line I will never know. He should start again here.

RB: Kyle Walker

Walker once again sat out of Champions League action once again, and he will be keen to put in a good showing to convince Mauricio Pochettino to put him in the starting line-up to face Leverkusen at Wembley.

CB: Eric Dier

Kept a clean sheet in midweek, and I don’t quite know how! Dier had a solid game in Germany and had to deal with a lot of Leverkusen pressure, especially in the second half. He should start again here and until Toby Alderweireld returns from injury.

CB: Jan Vertonghen

Vertonghen also had a solid game in Germany on Tuesday night, and should take great confidence from that clean sheet. I expect him to start again against Bournemouth.

LB: Ben Davies

With Danny Rose a doubt for Saturday, Ben Davies is more than likely to start on Saturday, and I have full confidence that he will put in a good performance.

CDM: Mousa Dembele

Mauricio Pochettino had to take Vincent Janssen off on Tuesday night to deal with the flurry of pressure coming our way, something that Victor Wanyama couldn’t handle on his own in defensive midfield. For that reason I think Spurs will set up with a 4-2-3-1 formation once again.

CDM: Victor Wanyama

Wanyama is in great form, but he can’t be in two places at once. He had a great game again on Tuesday, but in my opinion could really do with Dembele playing alongside him in midfield, and that is what I think will happen on Saturday.
