Player Ratings: CSKA Moscow 0-1 Spurs – Son Shines Again

Erik Lamela- 7

A good performance from Lamela. He played well, but his final ball wasn’t quite up to scratch up until he played Son through with a gem of a pass, a through ball that would win Spurs the three points.

Christian Eriksen- 7

A solid game from the Dane. He was a little wasteful in the first half, but this certainly improved in the second period, and played a few nice little passes inside the Moscow final third, but still not quite involved as I would like him to be.

Hueng-min Son- 8

This man just cannot stop scoring! Another goal from Son saw us claim all three Champions League points in Moscow. A little lucky to see his effort slide under the keeper and into the back of the net, but aside from the goal, he had a very good game.

Vincent Janssen- 6

Had the right intentions, trying to hold the ball up, but it just wasn’t his night in Russia. He is still waiting for his first goal from open play, and I feel that it will only be a matter of time until he bags that all important confidence-booster.

Subs

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou- 7

We started to see what the Frenchman is all about here in his cameo role. He came on for Janssen and provide excellent pace down the left-hand side and looks like he will be able to terrorise some right-backs in the Premier League for sure.

Harry Winks- 7

Came on in the final ten minutes to play alongside Wanyama in the midfield, and he looked far from out of place. There are big things ahead for sure for Winks.
