Reports: 3 More Transfers Tottenham Could Complete In The Next 5 Days

The transfer window slams shut in 5 days. Tottenham’s business is far from over with manager Mauricio Pochettino vocal about his ambitions to strengthen the squad further ahead of a highly-anticipated season where Spurs will play in the Champions League. Here are three transfers that, according to reports, Tottenham could complete.

1 – Wilfried Zaha

Well this sort of came from nowhere didn’t it? With a deal for Nkoudou still somehow stalling, Tottenham look to have turned their attentions elsewhere in terms of making an attacking addition. It will be in the form of Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, according to the BBC. David Ornstein tweeted on Thursday afternoon: “Tottenham  bid in region of £15m to sign Wilfried Zaha, according to his agent. Zaha keen, CL football etc.” – according to his agent is interesting. Perhaps that line is not the full truth and the agent is speaking to journalists to try and raise interest in his client who wants out. The Press Association are backing up the claims from the BBC by suggesting that Zaha held talks with Alan Pardew today where he requested to leave the club. Zaha has already had one shot at a big club in Manchester United, and that didn’t end well at all – he was shipped back to Palace. But Pochettino loves working with young English players and Zaha, still just 23, could yet realise the huge potential he showed at Palace as a teenager. Whilst I’m not sure this would be the right signing at the moment, if Pochettino believes it is, then I’m 100% willing to accept it and support Wilfried should he join.
