2 – Get Georges-Kevin N’Koudou over the line!
Two days ago reports suggested that a deal was back on to bring N’Koudou to Tottenham. I bloody hope so! Tottenham have dilly ding dilly donged around this deal for far too long now and it is about time that they get this one over the line. With Clinton N’Jie still looking likely to return to France, Spurs still lack attacking diversity and N’Koudou’s ability on the wing will certainly help with that. He’s a quick player, known for his impressive dribbling and ability to carry the ball. Tottenham are in desperate need of players that can single handedly turn defence into attack and it looks like N’Koudou is a player with the potential to do that. Considering his ability and age (21) his price tag of seemingly below £15million represents very good value in a market that continues to defy logic. Pochettino has publically said how hard it is to get signings over the line this summer: “We’re trying. I told you last week we hope to sign one, two or three players. Or maybe no one!
