With the arrival of Vincent Wanyama, it’s hard to see Mason being involved much next season. Many think Mason is younger than he is, he’s actually 25 and its hard to see him ever being in the starting eleven for Spurs on a consistent basis. It would be advised that he moves on this summer, after a series of inconsistent performances last season meant he was only used sparingly. With Hull reportedly lining up a £10million bid, it is likely that Tottenham will cash in and use the money to improve in other areas. £10million for a player who is unlikely to improve further and may not even make the Tottenham bench next season, surely needs to be accepted.
