5 – Vincent Janssen
As we told you recently, Janssen is closing in on a move to Tottenham. The player has admitted that he is set to join the North London club. Janssen is not itching to sign on the dotted line: “I won’t train with AZ anymore,” he told Algemeen Dagblad. “The clubs are now really close to an agreement. I will go home and wait for the phone call to go. “I’m glad that it is almost complete. For me, it was clear from the beginning that I wanted to go to Spurs. The competition appeals to me and the plan of the coach is similar to the plan that AZ boss John van den Brom shared with me a year ago at AZ. Jannsen, who has been superb in the last season shows why he is so clinical scoring 0.89 goals per 90 minutes. Janssen also managed 0.13 assists per 90. Of course the difficulty of the Eredivisie, but Janssen does look a top prospect – he’s scored 3 goals in 5 international caps so he has started to back up his form domestically on the international stage.
