Squawka have previously reported that this Marseille striker has told Spurs that he would favour a move to White Hart Lane over anywhere else, but there are two crucial things that would have to be resolved if a deal was to take place.

First of all, reports have suggested that it would take a bid of £31m upwards to secure the services of the Ligue 1 striker, who netted seventeen times for Marseille last term. This is a pretty hefty fee, and would break Spurs’ record transfer fee, set by Erik Lamela, who arrived for £30m.

Secondly, it has been reported that the striker turned down an offer of £80,000-per-week from Tottenham’s London rivals West Ham, indicating that in order to persuade the 22-year-old to signing on the dotted line would cost £80,000-per-week upwards, a wage that Spurs are not overly keen on paying the striker.
