With the January transfer window well underway, the bookmakers have enlisted Tottenham as favourites to sign three players, including these three forwards.

1 – Saido Berahino
This is the rumour that just will not go away. The English striker has long been linked with a move to Tottenham but the bookies are confident that this is the month a deal will be completed. SkyBet are offering up odds as short as 8/11 for the deal to go through before February 3rd. According to the betting site, Tottenham’s closest competition for Berahino’s signature will come from Liverpool (8/1).
The 22-year-old forward has failed to play regularly under Tony Pulis, despite his obvious talent. With his summer transfer request turned down, Berahino must now hope that the fact he is out of favour means the club will accept reasonable bids. A fee of around £20million looks likely, as I can’t see West Brom turning down such a high amount for a player who is no longer an essential part of the starting line up.
The Baggies reportedly turned down four bids for Berahino from Tottenham in the summer and since then, Berahino has looked a shadow of his former self. But it is clear that Berahino possesses a lot of quality that would be very useful to this Tottenham squad. With the goal-scoring burden weighing heavily on Harry Kane’s shoulders, a signing like Berahino would help add depth to Tottenham’s growing title bid.
