Spurs are preparing cut their losses on striker Roberto Soldado to hasten his exit from the club, with Galatasaray emerging as the frontrunners to sign his signature.

The 30-year-old has struggled in his time at White Hart Lane following his £26m move from Valencia two years ago. Galatasaray are said to be interested in the forward, and Spurs are prepared to accept bids in the region of £11m for the Spaniard, although the Turkish champions are ready to test their resolve with a bid of £9m.

Soldado has made 52 appearances in the Premier League for Spurs, scoring seven goals, but despite much encouragement from fans and management alike it seems destined that the Premier League just isn’t cut for him.

Also it is rumoured that the Turkish giants are eyeing up another Spurs outcast with former Captain Younes Kaboul apparently keen to also make his departure from N17. It’s believed Daniel Levy is holding out for at least £5million whilst Galatasaray are looking to scoop him up for just £3million.

After being a regular starter early last season, his performances and attitude on and off pitch has deteriorated over recent months and with Mauricio Pochettino having completed the signing of Toby Alderweireld today, which now leaves us with 7 current CB’s at the club, Kaboul’s days at White Hart Lane are numbered.
