Tottenham and Liverpool are reportedly interested in Newcastle young star Olivier Kemen, and both are hoping that they can get a deal done in this summer transfer window.
The youngster is the captain of the France Under-19 squad, but is yet to make an appearance for the Newcastle first team, and if Spurs or Liverpool have it their way, it will remain that way.
French reports from L’Equipe claim that the two clubs have both taken note of the youngster’s talent, but Under-21 playing time for the Magpies has been limited for the Frenchman, who is keen to gain more playing time either at Newcastle or somewhere else.
Reports suggest that Newcastle are not risking throwing the eighteen-year-old in the deep end to soon, and that is the reason why the Frenchman’s playing time has been limited.
Liverpool and Spurs are both keen to persuade the youngster to join their respective clubs, and the opportunity of more playing time in the Under-21 league and eventually first team minutes could potentially sway the midfielder either way.
