The Times claim that Turkish club Galatasaray have made a formal approach for Tottenham striker Roberto Soldado.

The Spanish striker has failed to adapt successfully to English football, along with the emergence or Harry Kane and off the field issues in his first season at the club has meant that Roberto Soldado has failed to repay his huge £26m price tag.

After taking a huge knock in confidence during his first season at Spurs, the striker has fallen down the pecking order at Spurs, and with Andre Villas-Boas and Mauricio Pochettino preferring to name just one striker in their starting line-ups, Premier League opportunities have been limited for the Spaniard.

Soldado earns £70,000 a week and is reportedly looking to call it a day in England after failing to rediscover the form that he showed at Valencia just a couple of years ago.

We would all be sad to see Roberto Soldado leave Spurs, but would a move to Galatasaray be the right move for his career?
