The Mirror report that Spurs could chuck Emmanuel Adebayor into a potential deal with the club desperately looking to offload the striker, despite Adebayor’s intentions of staying in North London.

Spurs are still set to make move for the striker, amid reports that Benteke will reject any move to Spurs, even if a fee is agreed between the two clubs, whether these reports are true remains to be seen.

Tim Sherwood already knows the secret of how to get Emmanuel Adebayor back on form, after we saw a different Adebayor in the second half of the 2013/14 when Sherwood was in charge at Tottenham.

Benteke not being keen on the move is not the only spanner in the works for this potential move, but Adebayor’s colossal £100,000-per-week wages could be a problem for Villa, but Spurs reportedly could pay a percentage of his salary should the striker move to another club later this summer.
