Tottenham have the chance to sign Swiss international Xhederan Shaqiri for just €15million, after it was revealed that Inter Milan are looking to sell the midfielder.
Shaqiri was once thought of as one of the best young midfielders in Europe, but since his cut-price move to Inter Milan, his reputation has continued to fall. Tottenham may see this as the perfect time to get Shaqiri – with his asking price so low.
Reports in Italy say Roberto Mancini is looking to offload Shaqiri and Pochettino would be confident of getting the best out of the winger.
Capable of playing left midfielder, left back, attacking midfield or right wing Shaqiri would be a very useful addition to the Spurs squad.
23 year old Shaqiri might not have the hype around him that he did two years ago, but he still has the potential to become a very good player – and I think he could do really well in the Premier League.
