Paulinho Linked With Move To Premier League Club

According to Italian sources Sky Italia, Premier League new-boys Watford are set to make a move for Spurs Brazilian midfielder Paulinho, who has struggled to settle in at White Hart Lane since his £17m move in 2013.

Tottenham have given the midfielder more than enough time to adapt to English football, and are set to sell the Brazilian in a summer exodus along with the likes of Roberto Soldado and Vlad Chiriches.

The midfield partnership of Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb has been hard to break into, and fellow midfielders such as Paulinho and Benjamin Stambouli have been given limited first team minutes.

Watford are preparing for a Premier League season where their main objective will be to avoid relegation, and they hope that Paulinho will boost their chances of staying in the Premier League.

The Hornets have reportedly contacted Spurs over a move for the 26-year-old and will be hoping to sign the midfielder, and will get more first team opportunities, but whether he will be open to a move to Watford remains to be seen.
