The Sun claim that Watford are interested in signing out-of-favour Tottenham centre-back Younes Kaboul in the summer transfer window.

The defender is slowly falling down the pecking order at Spurs, and it looks like the 29-year-old has just about reached rock bottom in terms of selection for a first team spot.

As a result, it has been reported that Kaboul is looking for a way out of the club in the summer, but isn’t keen on a move away from the Premier League.

Spurs rate the centre-back at around £4m, a transfer fee that Watford could easily afford after winning promotion to the Premier League, narrowly missing out on the Championship title on the final day of the season.

Kaboul has made just eleven appearances for the North London club this season, and Mauricio Pochettino has not selected the 29-year-old since January, and his last league appearance came in November last night.
