Reports coming from Italian outlet TMV suggest that Tottenham are just days away from completing the signing of PSG striker Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The striker has failed to recapture the form that he showed at Napoli, the form that also earned him a move to French giants PSG. However, he has fallen out with manager Laurent Blanc a number of times over the course of this season.
Lavezzi could be available for anything from £7m to £11m, but either way, this would be a bargain for Spurs if he can show the form he did in Serie A, and at thirty years old, Spurs will be confident that they can squeeze at least a few more years out of the Argentine.
This signing will of course excite many Spurs fans should these reports have any truth to them, as Spurs have been trying to bolster their attacking options for a number of years, and are now looking for somebody to share the workload with Harry Kane.
