Reports in Spain suggest that Tottenham could make a summer bid for Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata.
Spurs have previously attempted to sign the Spanish man before he made his move to the Red Devils from Chelsea, and are reportedly set to have another go at signing the Manchester United ace.
The North Londoners could make an £18.3m bid in the summer for Mata’s services in an attempt to bring the Spanish international to the club.
Despite this being above Daniel Levy’s new price range of £10m-15m for signing new players, but could go out of his range to bring proven Premier League talent to the club.
However, it will be a tough task persuading Manchester United to sell up at that price as the Red Devils would recoup less than half of what they paid for Mata back in 2014.
At the moment, it is a battle between Spurs and Atetico Madrid to sign the star, but staying in the Premier League could give Spurs the edge over the Spanish giants.
