With Kane firing left, right and centre up front, we will need the Jan to take the captains armband in Hugo absence and lead the defence by example and really take this game by the scruff of the neck. He needs to be the leader of this rather youthful defence and he needs to step up and really become this teams rock in the centre of defence alongside Eric Dier. On paper, Jan Vertonghen vs. strikers such as Sam Vokes and Lukas Jutkiewicz, it really should be a no brainer who wins the battle. But this sunday has the potential to show the “Spursy” side of Spurs, but would need a strong captains performance from the man they call SuperJan.
