Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has been linked with a number of clubs this season, including North London rivals Arsenal, but it is rumoured that PSG are interested in the Frenchman’s services.
Goal claim that Paris Saint-Germain could make a huge £40m in an attempt to sign Hugo Lloris, which would see Spurs sell yet another of their key players, a trend that has stuck over the past few years.
Despite recent reports stating that Lloris had a release clause in his contract explaining that he would be allowed to leave the club should Spurs not qualify for the Champions League. Although this appears to be false, failure to qualify only makes Tottenham’s task of holding onto the task of the Frenchman a lot harder.
It could take a £40m bid from PSG for Spurs to sell up, but Mauricio Pochettino speaking in a recent press conference has said that nothing new has developed in the last five or six months.
“Nothing has changed from four, five or six months ago, when we last spoke about the rumour. Hugo wants to play the Champions League here for Tottenham and everything else is just rumours.
“Nothing is true and nothing has changed with the situation. He is happy here and wants to reach the Champions League with Tottenham; that is his dream.”
