Tottenham Brazilian midfielder Paulinho could be heading back to his former club in the forthcoming summer transfer window reports suggest.

The midfielder has struggled to settle in at Spurs, with many fans becoming frustrated with Paulinho due to the amount of below-par performances the 26-year-old has been put in over the past two seasons.

Despite putting in a Man Of The Match performance against Newcastle a couple of weeks ago, it still looks as if Paulinho will be offloaded in the summer.

The middle-man was brought by Franco Baldini and came in as part of the ‘Summer Seven’ that the money made from Gareth Bale was spent on, and the signing hasn’t quite gone to plan.

The £17m that was spent on Paulinho has hardly been recouped, and Tottenham could easily sell the midfielder back to his former club Corinthians.

Juventus and Inter Milan are reportedly interested, but Corinthians seems to be his most likely destination come the end of the summer transfer window.
