Italian news website Tutto Mercato Web claim that four cubs are interested in for Palermo attacking midfielder Franco Vazquez.
It is looking quite likely that the 26-year-old will leave European football chasing Palermo in favour of a move elsewhere, with the Premier League and La Liga among his potential destinations in this summer transfer window.
Vazquez has scored seven goals in Serie A this season, and a tidy total of nine assists to add to that in his twenty-seven appearances this season. This form has attracted the interest of Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Tottenham and Southampton.
Inter Milan were reported at first to be the favourites to sign Vazquez, but following the new lucrative TV deal for Premier League clubs, and this could enable both Spurs and Southampton to outbid Roberto Mancini’s side.
Prior to nailing down a regular first team spot at Paermo, Vazquez has been loaned out to Rayo Vallecano before returning to Italy.
