2) Danny Rose or Ben Davies?
This is a debate that has raged since the start of the season – whether to opt for the seemingly defensively stable Welsh youngster or the hard-to-handle, pacey Englishman. Rose has the upper hand going forward, and was even on the scoresheet himself when we beat The Blues 5-3 at White Hart Lane on New Year’s Day.
But with the likes of Eden Hazard and Juan Cuadrado running at him, would it be a more sensible option to go with the more subdued summer signing from Swansea? Davies’ performance against Fiorentina on Thursday was a disappointment, due to his lack of delivery, but Rose can be held responsible for the shambolic second goal against West Ham last week. Risk it, or play it safe?
