Tottenham got the year off to one of the best possible starts when they beat Chelsea at White Hart Lane to move just two points off of Southampton, who currently occupy fourth spot. The Saints beat Arsenal today. Chelsea took the lead when Diego Costa turned in a shot by Oscar, Harry Kane hit back for Spurs with a great goal from twenty-five yards. That started the turnaround. Danny Rose smashed home a shot from Nacer Chadli that hit the post, Kane then won a penalty that was converted by Andros Townsend. Kane gave Spurs a 4-1 lead before Eden Hazard pulled one back for Jose Mourinho’s side pouncing on a mistake by Federico Fazio. Chadli restored the three-goal lead. John Terry pulled a goal back, but that proved to be nothing more than a consolation goal as Spurs ran out deserved winners. Here is how Twitter reacted to the fantastic win for Tottenham.
I couldn't have dreamed of a better start to 2015. Absolutely buzzing. What a fantastic win and an all round good performance. What a day.

Little shout out for Bentaleb. Wasn't perfect, but did well. I've seen so much criticism of him recently. He's 20. He's going to be great.
