Tottenham Keen To Move Striker On

Tottenham are keen to sell Emmanuel Adebayor and will be offering the striker to MLS clubs during the January transfer window.

Adebayor has fallen out of favour with manager Mauricio Pochettino  recently after reports emerged from the dressing room that the striker had been laughing and chatting happily with some of the Newcastle players after Spurs’ 2-1 loss at White Hart Lane, and even invited them into the Tottenham dressing room while the rest of the players were trying to figure out exactly what went wrong.

This season, the striker has also criticised the White Hart Lane support, which led to a mini-spat with the Supporters’ Trust.

There may not be enough space for the striker at the end of the transfer window with Tottenham set to sign at least one attacker, and Adebayor could be the one that makes way in place of the new signing.

Danny Ings is the favourite to be the new face at White Hart Lane, after Spurs have reportedly lost interest in West Brom’s Saido Berahino after club stated that they want over £20m.
