Recent reports suggest that Torino have contact representatives of Emmanuel Adebayor, to discuss a deal that could see the Togo international move to Serie A.

The Tottenham striker has been somewhat out of favour in recent times, and the dazzling performances of Harry Kane hasn’t helped him at all in his bid to claim a Premier League starting spot again.

Italian outlet Tottu Mercato claim that Torino have seen the striker’s unhappiness at Spurs, and are ready to end his time at White Hart Lane.

Adebayor has not appeared in the Premier League for Spurs for quite some time now after he fell out of favour. The main reason possibly being the dressing room incident post-match against Newcastle being the turning point for the striker.

However, a problem for the Italian side could be the striker’s high wage demands, this has put many clubs off buying Adebayor, and this could be the case for Torino if this is what holds them back from the deal.
