PSG manager Laurent Blanc has admitted that youngster Adrien Rabiot could make a January move this winter transfer window.

Rabiot has been linked with a move to Tottenham or their rivals Arsenal, Liverpool were thought to be interested, but may have fallen out of the running to sign the holding midfielder.

PSG are looking to loan out Rabiot for the rest of the season, in order for the youngster to get more first team playing time under his belt, with just nine appearances in Ligue 1 this season.

Spurs have recently emerged as favourites to take the 19 year-old on loan, and could make the deal permanent in the summer if they like what they have seen from the PSG player.

However, Spurs will have to dig deep into their pockets if they are to permanently sign Rabiot, with PSG reportedly keen to keep hold of the midfielder in the long-term.

Blanc is keen to keep hold of the midfielder, but hasn’t completely ruled out a January move.

“It is not impossible that one of our players will leave,”

“He is a young player who has just extended his contract.

“I hope he stays at PSG because for me he is the future of PSG, but we can not control everything.

“He has very high ambitions, as do those around him of course; I still hope to keep him.”
